Community Talks is our phone banking program. Like canvassing, phone banking allows us to reach our community members in a more accessible fashion and have conversations about our efforts, send reminders and create additional touch points.

Thank you for wanting to make a difference in our community and participating in our Community Talks. Before we get started on phone banking, let's make sure we are prepared.
A charged cell phone.
A charged laptop or tablet.
An ActionID account.
A Google Voice account (optional).
A quiet place to hold conversations.
Open www.openvpb.com.
Click “Get Started”.
If you already have an ActionID, login.
If you do not have an ActionID, click on the “Create Account” tab to create one.
Enter in your email address.
Create a password.
Enter your first name, last name and phone number, then read through the Privacy Policy or click to confirm.
Once completed, click the “Create account”.
Return to www.openvpb.com and log-in.
Once you’re logged in, you’ll see an info section on the left side of the screen, and the script in the center section.
You’re ready to phone bank!
